<br />P&Z meeting minutes - January 9, 1996 <br /> <br />Discussion of utilities: There is water available on Main Street and also behind City Hall. <br />They would be able to loop the water system through the cul-de-sacs between the same <br />lots mentioned above for the trail easement. <br /> <br />A. LaMotte stated that he doesn't see any reason why it can't be rezoned and stated that <br />the concept was good. <br /> <br />K. Welk stated that this plan blends better with the pre-existing homes than the previous <br />concept plans brought before them. <br /> <br />MOTION by Tourville, second by LaMotte to approve the concept plan for Clearwater <br />Meadows project. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />P&Z scheduled the re-zoning hearing and preliminary plat hearing for February 6, 1996. <br /> <br />It was suggested that P&R be called for a special meeting to discuss the park dedication. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 4 - MINIMUM FLOOR AREA <br /> <br />Tourville stated that Paul Palzer came to him for clarification of the minimum square foot <br />floor requirements. Example: the 1200 square feet - Is that for each level or a total? <br />What is the intent of the ordinance? <br /> <br />There was discussion on what size the house would be in order to make the minimum <br />square footage of each district and would the roof meet the requirements also. <br /> <br />P&Z requests that Paul Patzer provide a written recommendation on how he feels it <br />should be defined. The interpretation to be the same for all districts. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 44A - BUILDING DESIGN <br /> <br />MOTION by Tourville, second by Welk to table ordinance 44A. <br /> <br />SNOWMOBILE ORDINANCE <br /> <br />There was discussion of the snowmobile complaints being received. Tourville stated that <br />Centerville should organize their own club to establish trails. Tourville stated that if the <br />Council allows the snowmobiles to go on Main Street then the police will have to enforce <br />that to keep them out of the yards. <br /> <br />LaMotte stated that the same should apply for ATVs. Four-wheelers used for plowing <br />should be able to drive down the street to get gas or even to plow out a friend or relative. <br />Tourville stated he would be against A TV s using the same trails as snowmobiles because <br /> <br />PZI-9MM.WPS <br /> <br />3 <br />
