<br />"'1'0. <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> <br />TUESDAY, MARCH 11, 1997 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br />and a public hearing on March 11, 1997 at City Hall. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Chairperson Dan Tourville <br />Linda Broussard-Vickers <br />Tina Vermeulen <br /> <br />Kathy Welk <br />Allan LaMotte <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />STAFF/CONSULTANTS: James March <br /> <br />----------------------------------------------------------------- <br />----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING CALLED TO ORDER AT 7: 00 PM <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Kathy Welk opened the public hearing to discuss <br />a lot-split request on property owned by Dan Tourville. Dan <br />Tourville was seated in the audience and explained his lot-split <br />request. Mr. Tourville explained his home site of approximately <br />.71 acres (140' x 222') would be split from the rest of his <br />property of approximately 19 acres. All remaining buildings <br />would meet the setback requirements required for the R-2 zoning. <br /> <br />No further comments on the issue. <br /> <br />Motion by Allan LaMotte, seconded by Linda Broussard-Vickers to <br />close the public hearing. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Linda Broussard-Vickers, seconded by Allan LaMotte to <br />approve the corrected minutes of January 7, 1997. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Allan LaMotte, seconded by Linda Broussard-Vickers to <br />approve the minutes of February 4, 1997, with corrections. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY LAY-OUT <br /> <br />Gerald Rehbein, R + R Leasing, Inc., was present to discuss his <br />proposed lay-out for his 40 acre industrial property located west <br />of 20th Avenue and north of Cedar Street. The property has been <br />removed from the floodplain. The denoted "green space" would <br />serve as an area for sedimentation ponds. No delineations of <br />
