Mr. Rehbein mentioned that he has a potential large <br />food distributor looking at his property east of his industrial <br />property in Centerville. <br /> <br />Discussion on competition between Lino Lakes and Centerville for <br />commercial and industrial users was raised. Dan Tourville <br />commented that what is good for Lino Lakes will be good for <br />Centerville and vice versa. The school district is the largest <br />benefactor from increased tax base and everyone supports the <br />school district. <br /> <br />Dave Nyberg commented on the options for interconnecting the <br />water system with the water system of Lino Lakes. The buildings <br />in the lay-out proposal would be constructed of masonry or tip-up <br />concrete panels. The buildings could be owned or leased. The <br />overall consensus was a good feeling on the initial proposal. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Allan LaMotte, seconded by Tina Vermeulen to <br />go on record that the Planning and zoning Commission is in favor <br />of the concept presented by Mr. Rehbein. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Linda Broussard-Vickers, seconded by Allan <br />LaMotte to approve the lot-split request from Dan Tourville. <br />Motion carried. Tourville abstained. <br /> <br />Discussion on the need for a pawn shop ordinance was mentioned. <br />Linda Broussard-Vickers noted that she liked the photo <br />regulations that some communities have required. The Commission <br />requested copies of the Lino Lakes ordinance and the section of <br />the State Statutes referring to pawn shops at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Linda Broussard-Vickers, seconded by Allan LaMotte to <br />adjourn.
