<br />Planning and Zoning Connnission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 4, 2003 <br /> <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Applicants for the two (2) Vacant Positions on Commission <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wilharber, seconded by Commissioner McLean to <br />recommend to Council approval of the two applicants to the Plannin2 and Zonin2 <br />Commission. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Resignation Letter Submitted from Commissioner Helmbrecht <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kilian, seconded by Commissioner McLean to accept the <br />resi2nation of Ms. Helmbrecht. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated the City Clerk had sent out the snowmobile ordinance via e- <br />mail but realized there was a typo in the memo and that is why it was provided at this <br />meeting. She then indicated the snowmobile ordinance is scheduled for discussion at the <br />March meeting for possible changes. She further indicated that some of the City's <br />ordinances have been placed on the web site. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kilian asked for other local snowmobile ordinances for review. <br /> <br />Council Liaison Broussard Vickers indicated she would like to know from Mr. Doug <br />Koppy of the Rice Creek Snowmobile Trail Association whether participation from <br />Centerville has increased as there was a huge amount of interest when the ordinance was <br />changed last time and the snowmobilers had agreed to reform their ways and self-police. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that Mr. V otel and his partner came in and signed a waiver <br />giving them an additional 120 days to resolve their issues with the property owner. <br /> <br />VII. CONSIDERA TION OF MINUTES <br /> <br />1. January 7, 2003, Planning and Zoning Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kilian, seconded by Commissioner Wilharber to approve <br />the Minutes of January 7, 2003, as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Commissioner McLean abstained from voting on the Minutes as he was not at the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes announced that Sno Biz was scheduled for this weekend and invited <br />residents to stop by City Hall and pick up a flier. <br /> <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
