Mat�on carried. <br /> �001 Bud,get <br /> The Parks and Recreation Committee discussed the goals achieved in the year 2Q00, a.nd <br /> were pleased that most of the goals wer� accompiished. Mr. Peterson questioned who is responsible for the repairs, adding that he felt <br /> insurance should cover the repairs. After discussion, the committee requested Mr. <br /> Peterson talk to Mr. March and Mr. Palzer regarding the situation. <br /> Ice Rink Attendants <br /> The committee discussed the performance of last years' ice rink attendants, along with <br /> issues and concerns that will need to be addressed with the upcoming new attendants. <br /> Mr. Petcrson volunteered to supervise the rink attendants and overall upkeep of the rink <br /> due to the fact that he already visits the rink on a daily basis for maintenance purposes. <br /> Ms. Lien explained that in the past, any attendant who is interested it� warking as an <br /> attendant again in the current year has "seniorit�'. The pay for the position was <br /> advertised at $7.50 -$5.00 per hour, depending on experience. If the applicant chooses <br /> to come ba.ck in the following yeaz, they would receive a pay increase of $0.25 per hour. <br /> Interest in these positions has already been expressed. <br /> 3 <br />
