A. Officers <br /> The committee will elect its o�ficers annually at the rirst <br /> (ist) ragular meeting in a calendar year. A chairperson and <br /> a vice-chairperson * will be elected. <br /> B. Term of Off i ce <br /> The term of office for al� officers will be one (1) year. <br /> Each officer will be eligible �or not mor� than thr�� (3) <br /> consecu�ive tsrms of office. <br /> C. Duties <br /> I. Chairperson <br /> a) to pr�sids at meetings of the Park and Recreation � <br /> Committee mestings; ' <br /> I <br /> b) to give leadership to the cammitt�e; I <br /> c) to sign reports and ather papers as authoriz?d by <br /> the Park and Recreation Committee; <br /> d) to appoint task forc�s as authorized by the <br /> �ylaws. <br /> II. Vice-Chairperson <br /> a) to lend support and assistance to the chairp?rson; I <br /> b) to preside at Park and Recreation Committee I <br /> meetings in the absence of the Chairperson; � <br /> i <br /> c) to fill the office of chairperson, should that ' <br /> post become vacant, for the rema�nder or the <br /> unexpired term. <br /> Article V <br /> MEETINGS <br /> A. Meetings <br /> The committee will meet once each month on the first ist <br /> Wednesdav of the month. Nowever, the schedule may be <br /> amended from time to tim� to suit the convenience of th? <br /> members. <br /> B. Special Meetings <br /> Special meetings can be held at the request of the <br /> chairperson or if a majority of the members so desire. <br />
