He explained that the City <br /> receives a certain amount of money each year from "Score Funds" that must be used for <br /> recycling purposes. He was unsure of the amount, or what it had been allocated to, but <br /> felt the Committee could use this money to purchase recyc�ed bicycle racks, etc. for , <br /> Laurie LaMotte Park. Ms. Lien shared that she felt this money is alr�ady allocated for <br /> Earth Day expenditures, and is used by the Recycling Coordinator. She advised the i <br /> Committee not to plan on using any of the "Score Funds" until additional research had <br /> been done. � <br /> DISCUS�IOiv I7CElVI� <br /> Pavment for 7ackets <br /> Ms. Lien had included a copy of the invoice from Town Crier Promotions for the <br /> purch�e of the jackets for the ice rink attendants and the Parks and Recreation <br /> Committe� memb�rs. Ths invflice intlicated tha.t each jacket was $24.Sb. Ms. Lien <br /> offered that the members could submit thei� payment to her that time, or send a payment <br /> to City Hall. <br /> Outdoor Recreation Grant A�lication <br /> Ms. Li�n explained the Committee must come to som� decisions regard'u� the C�rant <br /> Application. Specifically, wha.t do they want included on the grant application? Since . <br /> they do not want to inciude the skate-park or parking Iot, the Committee needs to specify <br /> exactly what they want included in the grant. <br /> Af�er discussion, the Committee elected to include the following in the Outdoor <br /> Recreation Grant Application: Playground equipment (not to exceed $35k total, which <br /> includes $20k for the structure and $15k for fibar, mulch, drain tile, border, installation, <br /> �tc.), l�nches, bleachers and bike rack. <br /> Parks and Recreation Nlonthly Report to Patricia.
