PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> � September 5, 2001 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks and Recreation Committee <br /> of the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled meeting on <br /> September 5, 2001, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. Ms. DeVine called the <br /> meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. <br /> Present: Brian Walter <br /> Tedd Peterson <br /> Wayne LeBlanc <br /> Tom Lee <br /> Karla DeVine <br /> Linda Broussard Vickers <br /> Kathy Peil <br /> Chairman Doug Porter arrived shortly after roll call. <br /> CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br /> Motion by Mr. Walter, seconded by Mr. Peterson, to approve with <br /> changes, the August 1, 2001 Parks and Recreation Committee Meeting <br /> Minutes. All in Favor: Porter, Walter, Peterson, Lee, DeVine, <br /> LeBlanc Abstained: Peil <br /> TRAIL MAP BROCHURES <br /> Upon viewing the full color trail map mock-ups, some modifications were <br /> suggested such as adjusting the format to display city parks more <br /> prominently and display ALL of Centerville on the map. Discussion ensued. <br /> SATELLITE ENCLOSURES <br /> As the quality of prefabricated fencing was questionable, <br /> Mr. Walter will further investigate the cost of fencing materials to build the <br /> enclosures from scratch. Tabled until the next regularly scheduled meeting. <br />
