Ad Hoc Communications Committee Update <br /> Ms. Theresa Brenner, Chair, gave a brief update on the progress of the Committee. Ms. <br /> Brenner provided copies of the proposed surveys for review. <br /> Mr. March requested that prizes be designated rather than listing dollar amounts on the <br /> survey. <br /> Ms. Brenner stated that the Committee has made several recomrnendations and reviewed <br /> same: Update the City's web page contact list, Cablecast Council meetings during the <br /> day, subsequent to the actual meeting and provide the Week in Review to residents <br /> expressing interest in receiving same. <br /> Council Mernber Capra questioned whether Mr. March could post the Week in Review <br /> on the City's website. Mr. March concurred and offered to e-mail same to residents who <br /> expressed interest in receiving the Week in Review. <br /> Mr. March stated that Ms. Patricia Scott had submitted a letter of resignation for <br /> providing newsletter services to the City. Mr. March also stated that he had received a <br /> telephone call from the person who was the associate editor of the White Bear Press for <br /> five (5) years and currently produces a twenty-five (25) page, glossy magazine. Mr. <br /> March stated that this might be a viable avenue for the City to present information to <br /> residents and the surrounding communities. Mr. March also stated that he would <br /> research this item further. <br /> Motion by Council Member Travis seconded by Council Member Ca�ra to <br /> authorize the Communications Ad Hoc Committee to print and mail the presented <br /> surveys. A11 in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> V. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> Council Member Capra requested the following change: Page 11 change "City of <br /> Centerville" to "Cable Commission". <br /> Nlayor Swedberg requested the following change: On the last page indicate that the <br /> interviews were set for April 17, 2001 not May 17, 2001. <br /> Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Capra to <br /> �prove the April 11, 2001 Council Minutes as amended. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimouslv. <br /> VI. PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br /> 1. Ms. Kathy Peil <br /> Page 2 of 12 <br />
