Mr. March <br /> � indicated a 15x40 plot would cost $35 for the growing season. <br /> Mayor Swedberg stated he thought Public Works could dig up plots so the cost estimate <br /> surprised him. <br /> Council Member Broussard Vickers asked that an article be put in the newsletter to <br /> determine the interest level and recommended that the gardens start small and grow as <br /> interest grows. <br /> Mr. Sweeney noted that putting the garden behind City Hall may be a problem as there <br /> may not be parking for firefighters when responding to a call. <br /> Mr. March noted there should not be a traffic jam as those interested in gardens have <br /> varied schedules and he did not expect all gardeners to be there at the same time. <br /> Council Member Capra asked to have a statement concerning the gardens put on the <br /> cable channel and investigate putting plots at Chauncey Barrett Gardens. <br /> Council Member Capra asked Mr. March to research with the County whether the County <br /> property could be used for a garden. <br /> 8. Resolution #01-009 (Abatement Hunter's Crossing and Re-Allocation <br /> Assessment) <br /> Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Broussard <br /> Vickers to waive the reading and approve Resolutions O1-008 and 01-009 as <br /> presented.
