� i <br /> Aprilll,2001 � �� <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> Council directed Staff to gather more information and report back to Council at the next <br /> meeting. <br /> ' Mayor Swedberg expressed concern that the sirens may go off in Hugo but as Hugo is in <br /> a different county the sirens would not go off in Centerville. <br /> I Mr. Sweeney explained that the National Weather Service dicta.tes when the sirens go off. <br /> He then noted fire department firefighters are automatically paged when the sirens go off <br /> but the protocol is not to report to the station unless there is a disaster and the tones are <br /> , sounded. <br /> Mayor Swedberg noted Anoka County is in need of updating the communication radio <br /> system for police and fire. <br /> Mr. Sweeney noted there are times when firefighters at the end of town do not receive <br /> their page. <br /> Mr. March reported he had spoken to Mrs. Turcotte who told him she had tumed the <br /> purchase agreement over to her attorney and her attorney will call Mr. Hoeft to discuss <br /> same. <br /> Mr. March reported Council has set an interview date of May 17, 2001 to interview the <br /> four (4) design consultants. <br /> XII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion by Council Member Capra, seconded by Council Member Nelson to adjourn <br /> the April 11, 2001 Citv Council Meeting at 9:10 �.m. All in favor.
