Pedestrian Brid�e Over I35E Need

<br /> The purpose of this plan is to illustrate the need for a pedestrian bridge across I35E about 1 / mile south of the
<br /> highway 14 junction near Centerville. A beautiful trail has just been constructed in the Chain of Lakes Park
<br /> ' Reserve and will connect to trails leading to Minneapolis and beyond. A trail in Hugo running north on highway 61
<br /> already exists and will continue to Duluth. Centerville has agreed to lead trails from the Chain of Lakes Park to
<br /> I35E and Lino Lakes and Hugo have agreed to lead a trail to I35E but what is needed is a pedestrian bridge to
<br /> connect these two great trail systems. The whole state will benefit from this connection. The map below, taken
<br /> from the Metropolitan Council "Regional Parks — A Map and Guide," shows the trail gap between Centerville and
