Afterwards, discussion focused on ' <br /> each city's trail system. The question was asked as to the standard width of a trail corridor. Note that there � <br /> is no standard for width, however Coon Rapids has a 20' easement between lots (10') each lot. City of Blaine <br /> has 30' and has one deveiopment at 50' width. Blaine also has b' sidewalk requirements on collector streets. � <br /> Another question was: what is the range of fees and are they increasing? Coon Rapids went from $300 to , <br /> $1,350 per single family lot and is currentiy looking at a trail dedication fee. Blaine is at $1,339 with automatic <br /> increase of 3% per year. <br /> City of Coon Rapids mentioned that ditches and MUSA line easements are great for trails. <br /> City of Hilltop: City has no trails, but F.Y.I. - Dick Petkoff is still City Tree Inspector. <br /> Spring Lake Park: new trail is on 81� Ave going north and west to Highway 65. <br /> Circle Pines: City has negotiated a off-road trail along Lexington Ave when improvements take place. The <br /> corner of Lexington and Lake Dr. wiU have new development and a potential for a trail rest-stop. Local trails <br /> tie into regional trail and Golden Lake County Park. <br /> Centerville: City has park dedication fees. City wants to connect with regional trails and loop around downtown. <br /> Trail alignment to follow Clearwater Creek with a pedestrian bridge over 35E connecting to Hardwood Creek <br /> Regional Trail. Added traii going north on 20�' to 80"' then east to connect with the Hardwood Creek. A trail <br /> alignment south on 20"' and west on Birch is alsa planned. Idea of boardwalk trail along the north side of <br /> Centervilfe Lake was proposed. The County has detailed plans of their recent boardwalk construction in the Rice <br /> Creek Chain-of-Lakes Regional Park Reserve. <br /> Lino Lakes: Trail development proposed along Hodgson Road (CASH 49) when improvements occur. Two added <br /> connections from southeast neighborhood (Pheasant Hills), into the regional park proposed when grants are <br /> received. City has a comprehensive Parks & Trail plan. <br />
