Rental Property Ordinance <br /> Mr. March reviewed the rental ordinance with Council. He recommended that the langua.ge in <br /> Section 38.12, Subd. 2 be changed to read "....including any provision of the Uniform Housing <br /> Code" instead of the presently stated language. <br /> Council member Broussard Vickers e�ressed concern regarding the exception of "domestic <br /> assaults in Section 38.152, Subd. 2.10. City Attorney Hoeft explained the reason that domestic <br /> assaults were excepted, but the section could be changed to include domestic assaults. <br /> It was the consensus of Council to make the change to inciude domestic assaults. <br /> Motion bv Council member Broussard Vickers, seconded bv Council member Travis to <br /> direct staff to make the changes and prepare a Title and Summary for Council review at <br /> the November 22,1999 meetin�. Motion carried unanimousl_y. i <br /> Tri-City Police Joint Powers Ag�eement I <br /> Mr. March stated that he spoke with the City Administrators of Circle Pines and Leacington to find I <br /> out where they aze in the process of reviewing this document. Mr. Mazch stated that the i <br /> attomeys for both cities aze currently reviewing the document. He also stated the city attorneys � <br /> and city administrators for all three cities would be meeting to try and hammer out language in the � <br /> agreement so that hopefully the agreement can be approved the first meeting in December. <br /> City Attomey Hoeft stated that he only has suggestions that are policy related. <br /> Mayor Wilharber stated that the issue of non-payment would be addressed at the next meeting of <br /> the police commission. He aLso stated tha.t he received a yuestion in relation to a"Joint Civil <br /> Service Police Commission." <br /> City Attorney reviewed the Joint Civil Service Police Cominission issue.
