Trailhead / Beach Building <br /> As stated in the new Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Regional Park Reserve Master Plan prepared by <br /> Brauer and Assodates, Ltd. in May of this year, the master plan cal(s for the replacement or <br /> upgrading/expansion of the existing restroom building near the beach. Attached to ifiis program <br /> , is a proposed Trailhead / Beactt Building Program taken from this master plan. <br /> A meeting was held on August il, 1999 with park and reu'eation �FF to identify what the needs <br /> are for this building. <br /> These major elements were identified as important: ' <br /> - � <br /> a. restrooms / change area ! <br /> b. lifeguard room <br /> c. good ventilation (high volume) I <br /> d. ease of deaning and maintena�ce area <br /> e. oRentation to beach and pirnicking - I <br /> f, fteacibility / expandability in the future I <br /> g. �ecurable vertding area . <br /> h. plaza / informatron area <br /> i. ADA accessible <br /> j. wiit existing weil and septic system be usable? I <br /> k. architectural styie should and flnishes should be complementary to general park <br /> architecture, Wargo Nature Center, and Chomonix Golf Course I <br /> A more detaited description of these issues are as foilows: �� <br /> i <br /> a. Restrooms / Change Area: � <br /> i. � one men's section (1 toilet, 2 urinals, 2 sinks, 2 private changing areas _ with � <br /> caPaatY of 2-3) <br /> ii. one women's secction (3 toilets, 2 sinks, 2 private changing areas with capacity of <br /> 2-3) , i. <br /> ' iii. onevnisex section (,1 sink, 1 toilet, changing area with capadty of 2-3) <br /> iv. ease of cleaning and maintenance (high volume ventifation to reduce moisture <br /> problems) � <br /> b.
