More info. will be coming. <br /> * Ron Gersdorf (Municipal Contract Coordinator for Waste Management) has been <br /> relieved of his duties. Mr. Bruce Malec (Divisio� Manager, Waste Management) will be <br /> present at our next meeting to discuss the renewing our refuse contract. <br /> * LaMotte Park has been overseeded and fertilized thanks to the efforts of public works. <br /> This is going to end up being a first class park. <br /> * Rick Carlson called me to say that he would like to begin work on plat submittal for the <br /> former Prachar property. This property is approximately 20 acres located directly south of <br /> LaMotte Park. <br /> * I have placed a copy of a letter in your mailbin that was received from the Circle <br /> PinesJLexington Police Commission. They are stating that they do not have the financial <br /> ability to continue looking at the feasibility of a four City police department. It appears <br /> possible to continue the feasibility analysis of a potential four City police department <br /> without utilizing resources under the control of the police commission. This is kind of a <br /> sensitive issue. The police commission has a lot of ownership in the Cirr�e <br /> Pines/Lexington department. In my opinion, it would be unfortunate if this "ownership" <br /> obscured the vision of community leaders to at least have an open mind to consider the <br /> feasibility of a four City department. I mentioned at the last tri-City meeting that 1 wanted to <br /> see the study carried out and to place in writing the reasons for and against consotidation. <br /> At this point, I do no have enough information either way to determine if <br /> � ` <br /> 9/ 17/99 <br />
