Mr. Larson expressed i�terest in putting in a shelter <br /> ai the Tracey McBride Park alsc�. <br /> Mr. Terry Sweeney explained he thought t��e �,Teighborhood Network Committee was <br /> trying ta go with the "old town" feel or theTne that the Design T�am suggested. This is <br /> where the Neighbcrhood Netw�rk Committee came up with the name "gazebo". <br /> Mr. Steve Brown expressed he would like to see a shelter lar;e enou�h to hold family <br /> � gatherings and picnics. He a1_so mentioned the wi�iole purpase far the Acorn Creek P�rk is <br /> � <br /> z . <br /> geared for farmlies an� adults m a quleter atmosphere. Other parks su.,h as ,�al��otte Fark <br /> are geared for more athletic purposes. Mr. Brow*1 also stressed t�at th�r� is <br /> approximately 50 feet of shoreline that is ��per for public use. He still has pro�lems with <br /> children ��alking throu�h his property as they make their way around the pond. Thes? <br /> kids need to understand this is priva�e property, and a lot of the home�wn�r� are �etting <br /> upset with the traffic behind their houses at all haurs of the day and night. <br /> Mr. Larson stressed ag�in that this park shoul� be able to be used by ali a�es - both young <br /> and old. Mr. Larson distributed a letter from � rari Nelson which also requested a park be I <br /> desigriate�d for adults, ti.�ith a quieter more peaceful atmos��hPre.
