_ _. _ .
Theresa Brenner
7246 Clear Ridge
Centerville, Minnesota 55038
` (651) 653-9172
June 14, 1999
Dear Mayor Wilharber and Council members,
With regret, I have decided to resign fxom the Centerville City Council for
personal reasons. I have enjoyed serving Centerville for over six years.
However, since I resumed my career in Mazch, my life has drastically
changed.
.
I have tried to juggle everything---full-time job, City Council duties, and
family responsibilities---but I find it difficult to maintain a healthy and well-
balanced life. For now, I really need a break from City Council business. ,
My family strongly supports my decision.
Although I'm leaving the Council, I will continue to be involved with the I '
I
Design Team ideas and subcommittees. Maybe I'll be ready to run for
Council again after my daughter graduates from high school. O ,
I
I will miss being a part of the decision-making process. I especially wanted
to see the completion of the water interconnect and a new public works ,
building before I left. Yet, I am confident these will be accomplished.
i
Centerville is foriunate to have excellent and dedicated leaders on the City I
Council and all the committees. I also appreciate our fantastic city staff who
work so hard for us. It makes it easier to leave knowing the city is well
managed and in such good shape. It has been an honor and pleasure
working with all of you. You have my deepest adnviration and respect.
Sincerely,
T-ec',c' .-,►„^-e-
Theresa Brenner
cc: Jim March and staff
EDC,P&Z,P&R
.
I
