The Commission discussed presenting <br /> Mr. John Buckbee with a plaque for years of service. During the discussion, Chair Welk suggested <br /> purchasing a recognition plaque that would hang at City Hall, describing wlro served and when they <br /> served. Moreover, a certificate of appreciation could be presented during meeting. <br /> The Council discussed what plaques to purchase and when to start recognizing members that served. <br /> Councilmember Brenner considered recognizing stafffor years of service, such as, the Building Inspector <br /> that has been employed at the eity farfive years: Councilmember Nelson suggest�c�that documentation I <br /> should deternune validity. Ms. Gaustad suggested a separate plaque for the Mayors. Motion carried unanimouslv. ! <br /> VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Flood Plain Ordinance Amendment I <br /> The Council discussed approving the flood plain ordinance amendment. Mr. Hoeft commented in ' <br /> li�ht of the proposed amendments the city plans to submit to FEMA, perhaps it would be advantageous <br /> to table the issue until the City amendment application is finalized. Due to the flood plain reduction <br /> possibilities the Council elected to table the Flood Plain Ordinance as per Mr. Hoeft's recommendation. <br /> 1Vlotion bv Mayor Wilharber, seconded bYCouncilmember Nelson to table Flood Plain Ordinance <br /> Amendment.
