• � Nt�T APPR�VE D ' CENTERVILLE ECONOMIC DE�ELOPMENT COMMITTEE DESIGN TEAM UPDATE SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES �VIARC�I ��, i999 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Centerville Economic Development Committee held a special meeting on March 25, 1999 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. Present: Council Member Theresa Brenner EDC Chairperson Tim Rehbine EDC Committee MemberMary Capra Staff: Jim March, City Administrator - Aimee Fairbrother, Secretary Design Team: Penny Simonson Lucy Thompson Residents: Monica Travis, Tim Swedberg, and Wayne LeBlanc CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Rehbine called the March 25, 1999 speciat meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. PARKS, TRAILS AND LAKES TASKS Update presented by Wayne LeBlanc Wayne LeBlanc e�lained a group has formed that is primarily concentrating on Centerville's pazks, trails and lakes. Mr. LeBianc has minutes available from severai of the groups meetings, and gives a lot of credit to the Minnesota Design Team for getting things started and for getting everybody focused in one direction. The group has put together a list of priorities, and Mr. LeBlanc stated that many of these priorities are cunently being __ _ _ worked on with the help of City Administrator Jim March. In addition to these priorities, the Parks, Trails, and Lakes group has developed a set of plans that they will be submitting to the Park and Recrearion Committee for approval. Once the Park and Recreation Committee approve the prioritized plans, the goup wouid like them brought before City Council. This approval would provide direction and assurance that these plans go forward with the backing of the City. Mr. LeBlanc continued by reviewing the prioritized lists.
