Letter from Past Intern James Bownik <br /> ' Mr. March commented that the past intern James Bownik voiced an interest in continuing as an intern <br /> ' on a part-time (10 hours a week) bases. <br /> The Council's consensus was to request the City Administrator to put together a proposal and present <br /> it to the Council. <br /> � Rec�uest from the RCWD <br /> Mr. March mentioned the RCWD (Rice Creek Watershed District) monitors the water quality <br /> and flows of Clearwater Creek in the same location every year. The RCWD requested the use of the <br /> same site for a permanent monitoring location to be monitored in coming yeaxs. Therefore, the RCWD <br /> ' would like to consider running power and a phone line to the site. <br /> The Council's consensus was to permit RCWD to install pernunant monitors as long as there was no <br /> cost/loss to the City. <br /> DNR Grants/ Wayne LeBlanc - Parks, Trails and Lakes <br /> Mr. March explained that Mr. LeBlanc has requested the Council consider approving the efforts of the <br /> Design Team in regards to Parks, Trails and Lakes, as distributed (See attached). Mr. LeBlanc requested <br /> Council's direction specifically pertaining to DNR Crrants and a due date of February; then he inqired <br /> about the a resolution or motion. The Council suggested Mr. LeBlanc work with Staff in regards to the <br /> grants and due dates. <br /> XI. ADJOURNMENT <br /> Mayor Wilharber confirmed a special meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 18, from 9 am to <br /> Noon.
