Mr. Rehbein commented senior citizens are demanding
maintenance free, one-level town homes such as in the proposal. The proposed town home
', development will be an increase to the tax base compared to an RS subdivision. In short, the
proposed town home development would accommodate senior citizens and wi11 be a sound tax
base for the city.
Mr. Rod Henslin (1967 73rd Street) distributed a packet of information and a petition sined by
eight (8) property owners that request the Commission deny the rezone request for various
reasons (see attached).
