Star Citv Goals and Ob�ctives <br /> John Magill suggested that the Economic Development Committee check with Theresa <br /> Brenner to see if there was anything new for the city to participate in for Star City 1999. <br /> Studebaker Fire Tn�cl� <br /> Paul Montain stated that we need to do something with the Studebaker soon, or else it <br /> wi11 rust. Tim Rehbine questioned if there was a museum task group that would be <br /> interested in the Studebaker. Wayne LeBlanc will be contacted in reference ta this matter. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Vacanc� and Timeframe <br /> The vacancy will be published in the Winter newsletter, and will also be put up on the City <br /> Hal1 outdoor sign. Tim Rehbine stated that he wil� ta.lk ta Tom Schlavin, and Wayne <br /> LeBlanc, and John Magill stated that he would speak with Joe Goetz about their interests <br /> in filling this vacancy. <br /> CenterviLle P�mner <br /> r <br /> Jim March informed the committee that the original Centerville 1'umper is in storage at the �� <br /> Public Works building. Hat Liebel restored it in 1976, but nothing has been done with it �, <br /> since. The committee requested that the pumper be put on the agenda until a de�ision is � <br /> made on how we could implement the pumper into the Design Team revitilization plan. i <br /> Absence <br /> John Magill stated that due to the birth of his newborn, he would not be attending the next � <br /> two Economic Development Committees meetings. <br /> All-American Award <br /> The All-American Award is a nationally recognized award that the City of Centerville <br /> would like to receive in the year 2000. There is a twelve minute video, a cassette tape, <br /> and an informational packet on the. award that will be put on the January agenda. <br /> �.o�.�Bank <br /> The County Bank will be closing on their property in March or April 1999, and will be <br /> ]ocated diagonally from the Amoco Station/Clearwater Creek Mini Mart. <br /> A�gurn <br /> Motion to adjourn at 8:35 p.m. �vas made by Tim Rehbine.
