Planning and Zoning <br /> <br />Councilmember Love reported that a Darren Mosher was appointed as Chair, Tom <br />Woods was appointed as Vice Chair, and there is an open seat on the Planning <br />Commission. The issue of nonconforming uses was discussed at the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />4. Centennial Lakes Little League <br /> <br />Councilmember Paar thanked the Centennial Lakes Little League for their recent <br />participation in cleaning the area baseball parks including those in Lino Lakes, Blaine <br />and Centerville. <br /> <br />X.CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1. Review of the City Administrator <br /> <br />At 7:35 p.m. Council went into Closed session for the purpose of conducting its annual <br />review of the City Administrator. Present were Mayor Capra, Council members <br />Fehrenbacher, Vickers, Paar and Love. Also present were City Attorney Glaser and <br />Administrator Dallas Larson. <br /> <br />The Council discussed the review process and the forms that have been used in the past. <br />Council member Fehrenbacher suggested doing a different process that solicits input <br />from staff and peers. Council member Love shared his experience with 360 reviews. <br />The consensus was that the process for this review should be the same as last year, but <br />that Council would look at alternatives for next year. <br /> <br />The Council received copies of the review form and agreed to continue the closed session <br />after the next regular meeting to complete the administrator’s review. <br /> <br />The meeting was reopened to the public at 8:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Council member Vickers left at this point in the meeting. <br /> <br />XI. PARADE AND FETE DES LACS PLANNING. <br />The Council discussed the annual <br />Fete des lacs events. Mayor Capra and Council member Paar have been working on <br />planning the parade and fireworks. Staff was instructed to check on insurance coverage <br />for the City’s involvement in the events. Draft letters to parade participants were <br />reviewed. Only one or two parade entries will be offered compensation this year in order <br />to make funds available to have a fireworks display. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 6 of 7 <br /> <br />
