<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 96-06 <br /> <br />A resolution receiving feasibility study and calling for a public hearing on improvement. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution 96-01 of the council, adopted January 10,1996, a <br />feasibility study has been prepared by MSA Consulting Engineers with reference to the <br />improvement of water main extension west on Main Street from Mill Road to Progress <br />Road, north to Westview Street and also two alternate routes from the north: west from <br />Clear Ridge between lots 10 and II of the L'Allier Estates south to the Elementary School <br />or south oft' of Grange View between lots 4 and 5 of the L'Allier Estates, west along the <br />southern portion oflot 5 of the VAllier Estates, south to the Elementary School, and to <br />consider the street improvement of Progress Road north of Main Street to a 9-ton road, <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111, and this feasibility study <br />was received by the council on January 24, 1996. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA, that the council will consider the improvement of such <br />streets in accordance with the feasibility study and the assessment of abutting properties <br />for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429, and <br /> <br />A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 14th day of <br />February, 1996, in the council chambers of the city hall at 6:30 p.m. and the clerk shall <br />give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. <br /> <br />Adopted by Centerville City Council this 24th day of January, 1996. <br /> <br />C- / . -;--;:J.""
