<br />47 <br /> <br />Mayor informed council of hearing on April 25 at the State <br />Office Building in St. Paul at 9:00 am on the matter of regulation' <br />of cable communications. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Cl~rk had received revenue sharing check for $574.' Elmer <br />Murray made a motion to de~osit check at.the First State Bank of <br />Hugo in the form of a 7 3/4% savings certificate, John Peterson <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mel Dupre appeared before council with report on Anoka County <br />park proposal committee. <br /> <br />Clerk was to call attorney asking who has jurisdiction on <br />governing of bodies of water in our area. <br /> <br />Mayor read the following Resolution to be sent to Carley & <br />Associates: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of' the Qity of <br />Centerville that it does this date direct the City Engineer, <br />Milner W. Carley and Associates, to make necessary revisions to <br />the City of Centerville comprehensive sewer plan to comply with <br />recommendations discussed at meeting of April 8, 1975. Final <br />design of comprehensive plan to be such that flow will meet <br />metropolitan interceptor at city's east border. <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />/s/ <br /> <br />Walter Prachar, Mayor <br /> <br />Cle rk- Treasurer <br /> <br />John Peterson made a motion to approve resolution, Fran Burque <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Norm Fritchie reported for the Fire Department. He informed <br />council Centerville was the first community to be hooked up on the <br />county emergency system. He also requested the purchase of two <br />plectron tone activated receivers to be placed in fire department <br />members' homes. The cost of these is $171. per receiver.
