t e rvi
r 1880 Main Street, Centerviffe, 9K
955038
Established 1857 651- 429 -3232 or Fax 651- 429 -8629
June 16, 2010
Dear Property Owner;
As you are probably aware, the citry has been working for a number of years on a plan to
construct trails and sidewalk that connect neighborhoods to the regional trail along
County Road 14. We were successful in obtaining a Federal grant to build several of
these needed trail linkages and the project is now out for bids. The project location is
shown on the attached map.
The project construction, which is expected to start in August, is entirely within the right
of way or within easements that have already been obtained. Construction could cause
temporary disruption to driveways and boulevards. Disturbed areas will be restored as
part of the project, but you will not be asked to bear any costs of the work.
In order to share project information with property owners, we have scheduled an open -
house project meeting for July 7, 2010, from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at St. Genevieve Parish
Community Center, 6995 Centerville Road. The City's Engineer, Public Works Director
and other appropriate staff will be on hand to review plans and answer questions from
property owners. If there are special concerns relating to your property that cannot be
answered at the meeting, the City staff may go on -site after the meeting to resolve
remaining questions.
The City welcomes your participation and comments, and hopes that you are able to
attend this meeting.
Dallas Larson, City Administrator
