APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES <br />July 28, 2010 City Council Meeting Minutes <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to approve the July 28, 2010 City Council Meeting Minutes as presented. Motion <br />approved 3-0-1 (Councilmember Fehrenbacher abstained.). <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. City of Centerville July 29, 2010 through August 11, 2010 Claims (Check <br />#25642-25661) & (Check #25662-25681) <br />2. Centennial Fire District Claims through July 30, 2010 (Check #4412-4423) Check <br />#4401-4411 VOIDED <br />3. Encroachment Agreement — Mr. & Mrs. Handahl, 1937 Eagle Trail — Shed <br />4. Change Order #1 — Asphalt Surface Technologies (2010 Seal Coat Project) <br />-$5,090.99 <br />5. Approval of Job Description and Change in Employment Status of Greg <br />Bermeister from Seasonal Temporary to Regular Full-time Effective September 1, <br />2010. He would be placed in Pay grade 6, Step 7. <br />6. Approve Energy Improvements -Lighting Fixtures at City Hall <br />7. Parks & Recreation Committee Request to Expend Funds to Provide "Movie in <br />the Park Night' Event — September 18, 2010 — Not to Exceed $400. <br />8. Request to use Acorn Creek Park for Centennial Youth Football -Permission to <br />Strip Field <br />Councilmember Broussard Vickers requested item 6 be removed from the consent <br />agenda. <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love to <br />approve the Consent Agenda as amended. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />6. Approve Energy Improvements -Lighting Fixtures at City Hall <br />City Administrator Larson stated Xcel Energy conducted an energy efficiency audit and <br />indicated the light fixtures within City Hall are not efficient and that changing the lights <br />would save the City money over time. <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Fehrenbacher to approve Energy Improvements -Lighting Fixtures at City Hall.
