City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> September 22, 2010 <br /> Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Febrenbacher to <br /> request Anoka County Board to approve the base bid and award the contract to <br /> Veit and Company. Motion carried. (3 -1) (Councilmember Love opposed) <br /> VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Final Pay Request & Change Order #3 -01d Mill Road Utility & Street <br /> Improvement Project ($31,506.33 & <$2 090 79 >� <br /> City Administrator Larson reviewed background information regarding the Old Mill <br /> Road Utility and Street Improvement project from 2006 -2007 and indicated the city <br /> recently received the necessary paperwork that was requested and is looking for the City <br /> Council to approve the final payment and change -order request to close out the project. <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Febrenbacher to <br /> approve the Final Pay Request & Change Order #3 -01d Mill Road Utility & Street <br /> Improvement Proiect ($31.506.33 and <$2,090.79>. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> 2. Resolution #10 -024 - Authorizing Prepavment of Bonds (Debt Service Fund <br /> #312 — Improvements of 2004) <br /> City Administrator Larson reviewed background information regarding the prepayment <br /> of bonds #312- Improvements of 2004. He explained that by paying off a portion of the <br /> bonds early, the city is saving interest costs. <br /> Motion by Council Member Febrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar to <br /> approve Resolution #10 -024 - Authorizing Prepayment of Bonds (Debt Service Fund <br /> #312 — Improvements of 2004). All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 3. (County Required) Resolution #10 -025 - Authorizing the Execution of <br /> Encroachment Agreements with the Following Property Owners & Payment of <br /> Associated Fees for Recording <br /> a. Ms. Sherwood, 1885 Prairie Drive <br /> b. Mr. &Mrs. Handahl, 1937 Eagle Trail (CC Action 8111/10 <br /> c. Mr. & Mrs. Longhenry, 7111 Brian Drive (CC Action 71281IOZ <br /> d. Mr. & Mrs. Heckman, 7335 Deer Pass Drive <br /> City Administrator Larson reviewed the previous process for executing the encroachment <br /> agreements. The County has notified the city that the items could not be recorded <br /> without specific acknowledgement that they have been approved by the City Council. <br /> Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to adopt <br /> Resolution Number 10-xxx approving the Execution of Encroachment Agreements. <br /> All in favor.
