Infrastructure Rehabilitation Projects <br />Any project or portion of a project which reconstructs an existing <br />sanitary sewer facility. A rehabilitation project may occur on <br />the existing alignment of the sewer line or on a new alignment, <br />thus allowing the existing line to be abandoned or its status <br />downgraded. (i.e., trunk or subtrunk to lateral). <br /> <br />B. Determining Sanitary Sewer Assessment Rates <br /> <br />1. Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Rates <br />All properties which lie within the approved Service District <br />shall bear the cost of sanitary sewer interceptor projects. The <br />costs shall be spread equally based on a gross area basis within <br />the Service District and will be known as a interceptor assessment <br />and/or collected pursuant to the provisions of Section 111,- A5. <br /> <br />2. Sanitary Sewer Trunk/Subtrunk Rates <br />The lateral and building service assessments described below will <br />be deducted from the total improvement cost to be assessed. The <br />amount remaining after said deductions will be assessed on a gross <br />area basis to all properties within the Service District, and will <br />be known as a trunk assessment and/or subtrunk assessment. <br /> <br />3. Sanitary Sewer Lateral Rates <br />The building service assessments described below will be deducted <br />from the total improvement cost to be assessed.
