City of Centerville <br />Council Mecting Minutes <br />September 22, 201 <br />4. Planning & Zoning Commission Recommendation to Amend Citv Code. ChapLer <br />156, Sections 156.021 & 156.030 <br />City Administrator Larson stated there are propel within Centerville that will need to <br />be rezoned in order to make the zoning on the properties correspond with the future land <br />uses of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan. This ordinance amendment facilitates the higher <br />density residential district and resolves issues with industrial uses that will be rezoned to <br />Commercial B -1 <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to <br />,gyp rove the Planning��d Z� oining Commission Recommendations and adontin2 the <br />pLoyosed ordinance AmendinLy Citv Code, Chapter 156, Sections 156,021 and <br />156.030. All in favor. Notion carried unanimously. <br />5. Resolution #10-026 - Authorizing Conditional Use ADDroval to Enter Into Contract <br />for Water Service Line Improvement Project <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed background information regarding the Water Service <br />Line Improvement Project. A supplemental Community Development Block Grant is <br />expected to be approved next week which will allow the city to proceed with the work. <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to <br />authorizine Conditional Approval to Enter Into Contract for Water Service Line <br />Improvement Proiect. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />6. Purchase of Bobcat with attachments. <br />City Administrator Larson presented a bid to trade-in the city's current Bobcat skid <br />loader and purchase a newer model with the attachments for clearing sidewalks. <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar to <br />table this item until the October 14, 2010 meetinLy. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />-0 <br />Citv Administrator, Dallas Larson <br />City Administrator Larson stated he has been attending meetings with a group of city and <br />county officials to consider service/equipment sharing opportunities. He added the city <br />already participates in many sharing agreements and there may be additional <br />opportunities. <br />2. Mayor Capra stated she attended the Parade and 8K Run/Walk recap meeting and <br />they discussed amending some of the events. <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />R <br />
