<br /> Approved <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2025 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville’s Parks & Recreation Committee <br />held its Regularly Scheduled Meeting on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers at the Centerville City Hall. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Heidi Errickson-Grahek called the Regularly Scheduled Meeting of the Parks & <br />Recreation Committee to order on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 6:34 p.m. <br /> <br />1. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present: Chairperson Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br />Committee Member Emem Akpan <br /> Committee Member Kathy Freiermuth <br />Committee Member Ashley Fuchs <br />Committee Member Deanna Loomis <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Katya Port <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: City Clerk, Ms. Teresa Bender <br /> City Council Liaison, David Kubat <br /> <br /> <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA. <br /> <br />1. Call for Changes to the Agenda. <br /> <br />Some changes were made before the meeting, and a new agenda was provided. <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Chair Errickson-Grahek, seconded by Committee Member Akpan to <br />approve the amended agenda as presented on this date. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />III. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES. <br />Mr. Devin Grahek appeared before the Committee to review the Disc Golf Course. The original <br />proposed layout, as well as an updated layout were provided. He stated that the typical price of <br />starter discs is $20. Mr. Grahek reviewed the updates in detail. Work will start on Monday, weather <br />permitting. The hope is to get it completed within a week. A clinic will be held at the Grand <br /> <br />
