(5) Any ashes, cindersy:sand, mud, straw, shaving, metal, glass, <br />rags., feathers, plastic, woad, paunch manure Or any other solid. <br />or viscous substance capable of causing Obstruction to the flow <br />in sewers or other interference with the proper operation ors of <br />the sewage systern <br />(6). Any waters or Wastes corstainirsg. a .toxic car- poisonous substance <br />in :sufficient quantity to injure or interfere with any sewage <br />treatment process or which constitutes a hazard to humans or <br />animals car creates any hazard irs the receiving water, of the. <br />sewage treatment plant, <br />4:. (7) Any waters or wastesccorstairsingsuspended sc.l ids of .such <br />character and quantity.. that unusual attention Or expense .i s <br />required to handle such materials at the sewage treatment <br />plant.. <br />4." (3) Any noxious or rr:aldorc'us .gas or substar:.ce capable of creating <br />a public nuisance, <br />4.4 (9) A grease, oil and sand interceptor shall be .provided wherry in <br />the .opinion of the. City Engineer,: that it is necessary for the <br />proper^ handling of liquid wastes .containing greasein excessive <br />arncwrst, or any inflammable wastes,: sand, on other harrnful <br />ingredients; except that such i rrt ercept cars shall not be <br />required fcrr residential dwelling units which discharge only <br />normal wast..es..t.herefrorn. Such: grease and .oil interceptors <br />shall be of substantial const.r-uct i c.rr, water. -tight and eq,zu i p.ped <br />with easily. •rerncivab l e cc=venS which where baited in place, <br />shall be gas -tight and t er7t fight,. All :grease, oil and sand <br />interceptors shallbe maintained by the owner, at his expense, <br />in continuously efficient operation at..a11 times. <br />4 <br />
