NEW BUSINESS - B <br />b. The CITY shall let all contracts necessary for the operation and <br />maintenance of Heritage Hall in accordance with applicable municipal <br />contracting laws. The. CITY shall seeka written approval from the. <br />TOWNSHIP's Clerk before letting any contract expected to exceed <br />$10,000.00 in value. Repairs or alterations to Heritage Hall which are <br />expected to exceed $5.0,000.00 in value shall be approved by the <br />governing bodies of the CITY and the TOWNSHIP. <br />c. Any revenue accruing from the use of Heritage Hall from use by the <br />Ramsey County Sheriffs Office or other organization, and from facility <br />rental and similar activities, shall accrue to the CITY. <br />d. The TOWNSHIP shall coordinate its use of Heritage Hall for meeting <br />rooms, polling places, or administrative offices with the CITY. <br />e. The TOWNSI-IIP shall pay twenty percent (20%) of routine Heritage Hall <br />expenses. <br />f. The parties anticipate that Heritage Hall revenues and revenue credits will <br />supply approximately 50%0 of the building's operating funds. The CITY <br />and the TOWNSHIP agree to take all reasonable steps necessary to <br />maintain this level of funding from sources other than the CITY or the <br />TOWNSHIP. <br />II. OPERATING COSTS, EXPENSES, AND INSURANCE <br />a. Routine Expenses: Routine Heritage Hall expenses shall include: All <br />utilities (heating, air conditioning, electricity, water); refuse and recycling; <br />insurance, including fire and extended coverage; security; . routine interior <br />and exterior maintenance costs; snow plowing; and turf and landscape <br />maintenance, <br />b. Non -routine Expenses: Expenses for non -routine repairs or alterations <br />involving the Municipal Building (e.g. re -roofing or re -carpeting, damage <br />caused by vandalism or alterations required by changes in building codes) <br />shall be allocated 70%0to the CITY and 30% to the TOWNSHIP, to the <br />extent they are not covered by insurance.
