CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />4200 Utter Lake Road <br />Gem Lake, MN 55110-3227 <br />Telephone 651-747-2790 <br />E-mail Citv�]gemlakeMN.org <br />Gem Lake Planning Commission Meeting <br />6 October 2009 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Gem Lake was called to <br />order by Chairman Craig Rafferty on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 7:02 p.m. in <br />the Gem Lake City Hall meeting room. <br />The following members were present; Chairman Craig Rafferty, Planning <br />Commission members Beth Herzog, Derek Wippich and Daniel Marier. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MEETING MINUTES <br />Planning Commission Agenda: Chairman Rafferty asked for any changes, <br />deletions or added agenda items. None was given, so proceeded to move <br />forward with the meeting. <br />Planning Commission Minutes: Chairman Rafferty called to approve the <br />September Planning Commission meeting minutes. The September Planning <br />Commission minutes were discussed and upon motion by Marier and seconded <br />by Herzog, the September minutes were approved. Ayes — 4, Nays — 0. <br />NEW BUSINESS. <br />South Road Owners Association of Gem Lake: A letter was sent to the <br />Planning Commission regarding changing the name of County Road E to Private <br />Property, Daniels. Farm Road. Planning Commissioner Beth Herzog had <br />concerns about the development of land in that area. The Planning Commission. <br />discussed the topic and decided to support and encourage the name change for <br />the association and pass this on to the City Council for their approval. <br />Pigeon Ordinance: The Planning Commission reviewed the revised ordinance <br />for adjustment on the number of pigeons at residence, There were a few <br />complaints regarding pigeon droppings and where they are being disposed. <br />Resident has fixed the problem and has had no issues since then. <br />Look for us on the World.
