Gem Lake Planning Commission Meeting <br />Page Two <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />The Public Hearing opened at 7:25 p.m. and no residents were in attendance. <br />Hearing was closed at 7:30 p.m. <br />Upon motion by Commissioner Herzog and seconded by Commissioner Marier, <br />Ordinance was approved by Planning Commission with conditions that applies <br />with the animal nuance ordinance. The Planning Commission will send it back to <br />the City Council. Ayes — 4, Nays - 0.. <br />Sign Ordinance: The sign ordinance was presented to the Planning <br />Commission for their approval. It was reviewed and the Planning Commission <br />felt the language was acceptable. Upon motion by Commissioner Marier and <br />seconded by Commissioner Wippich, the new sign ordinance was passed to <br />replace existing ordinance. <br />Fee Schedule Review: Chairman Rafferty didn't have the new schedule with <br />him, so scheduled this discussion for the November Planning Commission <br />meeting. <br />OPEN FORUM <br />Hanson Properties: Nā‘ one representing the Hanson properties attended the <br />meeting. Some of the issues with this property are: Lilac Lane, and Daniels <br />Farm Lane. Have plans to build senior living and senior assisted living in the <br />area by County Road E. Wants to take away some of the trees surrounding <br />County Road E and the Planning Commission wants to keep the tree line and <br />maybe thin out trees to keep them healthy. Also using English Street as an <br />entrance street. <br />Zoning Ordinances: Working towards getting that set up for the City of Gem <br />Lake. Working with White.
