Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />Page Four <br />Open Items for City Council Members: Mayor Uzpen needs the Comp Plan <br />from Councilmember Watson so it can be sent to the Metropolitan Council.. <br />Presentations from the Public: A resident discussed the speeding situation on <br />Goose Lake Road. A request was Made to double the speed limit signs. Also <br />mentioned to have. a "your speed is". sign on the road' to make drivers aware of <br />their speed. <br />Trevor Oliver, Gem Lake's attorney spoke regarding law enforcement details. <br />Ordinance for citation enforcing, writing tickets and how much the State and City <br />will split for tickets. Attorney Oliver will write a report for the City Council to look <br />at next week. Another issue addressed was he finished the history on Highway <br />61. Gem Lake will not receive any new land.
