Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />Page Four <br />cigarette violation at. the Country Lounge shall be carried over until the November <br />City Council meeting: <br />PRESENTATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Pigeons/Peacocks Violation: A resident came to the meeting after receiving a <br />letter from the City of Gem Lake regarding his pigeons and peacocks on his <br />property. The Ordinance is written for 20 'pigeons and he has over 100. He <br />stated that he had gotten rid of the peacocks. The City Council will take this. <br />under review and will address the issue of the pigeons at the September City <br />Council meeting. <br />Vadnais Heights Sewer Project: A resident was concerned about the plan for <br />the sewer project going underneath Highway 35E. He has heard that Vadnais <br />Heights has started to lookinto this project and was wondering if we should start <br />working with Vadnais Heights. <br />Storm Water Project: A resident suggested finding ways of paying for the storm <br />water project so that it does not come out of the residents' taxes. He gave <br />examples of the surrounding cities and what they are doing. It was suggested to <br />study what White Bear Township is doing with their plan. <br />FUTURE COUNCIL MEETINGS. <br />City Council Workshop: September 14, 2009 at 7:00 p,m. <br />City Council Meeting: September 15, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. <br />ADJOURN <br />The August 18, 2009 regular meeting of the City Council was adjourned at 9:30 <br />p.m. Upon motion by Councilman Lindner, and seconded by Councilwoman <br />Artig-Swomley, the City Council meeting was adjourned.
