Goal D: Establish a strong character for the Vadnais City <br />Center. <br />Objective D-1: Identify the Vadnais City Center as the economic, visual and social <br />center of Vadnais Heights, the City's "downtown". <br />Objective:D-2: <br />Objective D-3: <br />Objective D-4: <br />Recognize that building massing, building height, and site design will <br />establish the character of the Vadnais City Center, and should be <br />proportional to and compatible with the natural site characteristics. <br />Announce arrival of the Vadnais City Center through the use of a <br />comprehensive boulevard landscaping plan, uniform identification signs, <br />and lighting. <br />Through building design, establish an architectural theme within each <br />quadrant, through signage, lighting, landscaping, and similar features <br />establish a uniform design theme for the Vadnais City Center. <br />Objective D-5: Establish a central, clear, identifiable architectural <br />(old 13-3) "thence" to the Vadnais City Center which will be ex- <br />pressed in site development such as landscaping, fencing, <br />paving, signage, lights, etc. and other design elements. <br />
