MAY-25-94 WED 15:00 WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP <br />FAX Ha 6124262258 P. 04 <br />Ramsey County Sheriff Contract Group Minutes <br />May 19, 1994 <br />BUDGET <br />Shanley distributed information with regard to calls for service <br />for the entire year of 1993. The hand-outs provided data on the <br />type of incident, day of week the incident occurred, average <br />response time, and the total minutes spent on the call. Bergeron <br />explained that in an ideal situation, a squad would spend 1/3 of <br />its time answering calls, 1/3 on routine patrol and 1/3 for <br />administrative service. <br />The Group felt they needed time to review the information <br />received and to discuss the budget options. <br />It was determined that a sub -committee be formed Comprised of <br />Little Canada, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights and White Bear <br />Township, to study the need for and cost sharing of additional <br />patrol deputies. They will present their findings at next <br />month1s meeting. <br />IMB JRSEMENT OF COURT COSTS <br />Ecklund discussed a resolution requiring reimbursement of court <br />costs for those who are convicted of a crime.
