City of Gem Lake City Council meeting minutes October 20, 2020 Page 3 <br /> <br />Noted that there will be a special election on February 9, 2021, for the vacated position of <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley (now Mayor Artig-Swomley). <br /> <br />Future Meetings <br />The November City Council meeting will be virtual, will decide after each meeting to continue with the <br />virtual platform. <br /> <br /> <br />Claims <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Kuny to approve the <br />claims for October, 2020. Voice vote taken, all voted yes. Motion passes, claims approved. <br /> <br />Presentations from the Public <br /> <br />Open Items from the Council Members to Bring Up <br />Mayor Artig-Swomley, zoom meeting with Rush line, re-education, comp plan density, The planning <br />commission will be reviewing ordinance # 85 – Regulating home businesses, home merchandise and <br />other home occupations. <br /> <br />Next Meetings/Workshop <br />City Council, Tuesday, November 17, October workshop cancelled. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Being there no further business, following a motion from Councilmember Lindner, seconded by <br />Councilmember Kuny, the meeting adjourned at 8:16 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, Gloria Tessier.
