City of Gem Lake City Council Meeting minutes, December 19, 2017 Page 1 <br /> <br />City of Gem Lake <br /> City Council Meeting – December 19, 2017 <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Uzpen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Councilmembers Artig-Swomley, Linder and Kuny <br />were present. Others in attendance: City Engineer Justin Gese, S.E.H., Ramsey County Sheriff Jack <br />Serier, students, Tony Leh?, Camryn Pierau, Jackson Rush and Wyatt Taylor. <br /> <br />December 19, 2017, Agenda <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to approve <br />the agenda for December 19, 2017, with the additional of Ramsey County Sheriff Jack Serier <br />presentation, motion passed. Agenda approved with addition. <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve the <br />minutes for November 21, 2017, motion passed. Minutes approved. <br /> <br />Committee Reports <br />No Planning Commission meeting took place in December. <br /> <br />Old Business <br />No report. <br /> <br />Newsletter <br />Dan Marier profile, Mayor accomplishments/ 2018 goals and objectives, road repair, fee schedule for <br />2018 issue, VLAWMO using sentence to serve participants for ditch cleaning, Shop with a Cop, Fright <br />Farm. 6 issues will published in 2018. <br /> <br />New Business <br /> <br />Ramsey County Sheriff Jack Serier – 2018 Wrap up <br />Sheriff Serier updated the council on the Ramsey County Sheriff Department 2018 accomplishments. <br /> <br />Resolution 2017-22 Intent to Reimburse Expenditures <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve <br />Resolution 2017-22, Intent to Reimburse Expenditures if the project gets approved. A voice vote was <br />taken, 4 yea votes, 0 no. Motion passed. Resolution approved. <br /> <br />2018 Fee Schedule <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve <br />the 2018 Fee Schedule. Motion passed. 2018 Fee Schedule approved. <br /> <br />Approve S & S Tree and Horticultural Specialist, Inc. as our Tree Consultant <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve <br />S & S Tree and Horticultural Specialist, Inc. as the tree consultant for the City of Gem Lake. Motion <br />passed. S & S Tree and Horticultural Specialist, Inc. has been retained as the tree consultant for the City <br />of Gem Lake.
