City of Gem Lake City Council meeting minutes, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 Page 1 <br /> <br />City of Gem Lake <br /> City Council Meeting – Tuesday, October 20, 2015 <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Uzpen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Councilmembers Artig-Swomley, Bosak, and <br />Lindner were present. Councilmember Kuny was excused. Others in attendance: City Engineer, Justin <br />Gese; City Attorney Patrick Kelly, residents/members of the community; Shawn Pehrson, James <br />Johanning, Emma Staff and Corinne Watson. <br /> <br />October 20, 2015, Agenda <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Jim Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to <br />accept the agenda. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Bosak to approve the <br />minutes for the September 15, 2015, City Council meeting, motion passed. <br /> <br />Old Business <br />Newsletter ideas – status of water project, information on the assessment hearing, possible new <br />resident, article on false alarms to be charged effective 1/1/2016 per ordinance #48 , all rental <br />properties will be required to obtain a license and inspection 1/1/2016 per ordinance #83 – to be <br />written by Gloria Tessier. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />New Business <br /> <br />Resolution 2015-16 – Delinquent Sewer bills – A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, <br />seconded by Councilmember Bosak to approve Resolution 2015-16. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Resolution 2015-17 – Delinquent Septic bills – A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, <br />seconded by Councilmember Lindner, to approve Resolution 2016-17. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Resolution 2015-18 – Delinquent Fire Inspection bills – A motion was made by Councilmember Bosak, <br />seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to approve Resolution 2016-18. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Resolution 2015-19 – Score Grant – A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner, seconded by <br />Councilmember Bosak to approve Resolution 2016-19. Voice vote taken- 4-0. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Resolution 2015-20 Approve and Accept Construction Bids. Bid was awarded to Dave Perkins <br />Contracting, Inc. lowest responsible bidder. A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley to <br />approve Resolution 2015-21, seconded by Councilmember Bosak. Motion passed. <br />
