Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />No comments from the public. <br />Public Hearing closed at 7:18 p.m. <br />Upon motion by Councilmember Lindner and seconded by Councilmember Bosak, to <br />approve Ordinance 121. Ayes -- 4, Nays 1. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Resolution 2010-21 Fee Schedule: Mayor Uzpen explained that the council forgot to. <br />add a non -sufficient fee of $30 if a check is returned. In addition, Sunday on -sale liquor <br />license fee should be $200, as state law requires versus $500 that Gem Lake stated. <br />Upon motion by Councilmember Artig-Swomley and seconded by Councilmember <br />Rasmussen, Resolution 2010-21 passes. Ayes — 5, Nays — 0. <br />Ordinance 121 - Wind Tower Summary: The council discussed the summary and <br />upon .motion .by Councilmember Lindner and seconded by Councilmember Artig- <br />Swomley, Wind Tower summary is approved. Ayes —.5, Nays — 0. <br />Gem Lake Hill 2011 Liquor License: The council reviewed the packet that Mayor <br />Uzpen sent out and upon motion by Councilmember Lindner and seconded by <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley, the liquor license for 2011 passes. Ayes — 5, Nays — 0. <br />Country Lounge 2011 Liquor, Tobacco and Charitable License: The council <br />reviewed the packet Mayor Uzpen sent out and upon motion by Councilmember Bosak <br />and seconded by Councilmember Rasmussen, 2011 license passes. Ayes — 5, <br />Nays — 0. <br />Claims for December: The bills for December were discussed and authorized to pay. <br />Mayor Uzpen discussed the November Mechanical bill regarding repairs to the heating <br />system. Upon motion by Councilmember Artig-Swomley and seconded by <br />Councilmember Lindner, motion passes. Ayes — 5, Nays — 0. <br />Hillary Farms: A discussion with Justin Gese, from SEH, Tom Riedesel, from White <br />Bear Township and the City Council regarding the Hillary Farms sub -division <br />application. Tom is looking at the. PUD ordinance requirements. Justin will review the <br />storm water design changes and the sewer design from the old plan. Will also look at <br />the roadway modifications. Hillary Farms has a hammerhead (T-road) instead of a cul- <br />de-sac on one of their roads. He will talk to the developer regarding this issue. Justin is. <br />also reviewing the development as a whole and what changes need to be done to the <br />development as planned. If approved, will amend new plan. The sewer is set up to run <br />down Scheuneman Road. The sewer analysis is part of the new sewer analysis <br />submitted and might need extensions. <br />Hillary.
