<br />FEASIBILITY STUDY GEMLK 186534 <br />Page 3 <br />Vadnais Heights billing rates are established in the municipal ordinance related to the water <br />system (Chapter 36, Article II, Division 3) and are shown below from the 2025 Water Fee <br />Schedule. For larger connections, fees are noted in the ordinance to be determined by the City <br />Engineer based on the costs for installing the service. The connection fees noted below are <br />approximate and were calculated with a 2% inflation factor from the 2018 Gem Lake Villas <br />Agreement. <br />Table 1 – Billing Rates and Connection Charges for Vadnais Heights <br />Gem Lake would need to pay Vadnais Heights for water used. As property owners connect to the <br />new Gem Lake Water System they would be responsible for obtaining a plumbing permit along <br />with the costs associated with disconnection or abandoning their well.
