CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN _ City Hall - 4200 Otter Lake Road — Gem Lake, MN 55110 RESOLUTION NO.2017-20 21 NOVEMBER 2017 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL GENERAL FUND BUDGET AND FINAL AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2018 WHEREAS, the Citv Treasurer has presented a TOTAL (Proposed) Budget of $423,247.00 which includes a General Tax Levy of $369,252.00 and a Debt Tax Levy of $84,399.00 for fiscal and calendar year 2018 based upon best estimates of costs for running the City of Gem Lake in 2018; and WHEREAS, the City Council did review, on November 21, 2017, the TOTAL Budget and Tax Levy for 2018 including; all revisions thereto as of the date first written. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does formally adopt the 2018 Final General Fund Budget of $423,247.00 and the Final Property Tax Levy of $453,651.00 which includes a General Tax Levy of $369,252.00 and a Debt Levy of $84,399.00 for 2018 as prepared by the City Treasurer and amended by the City Council; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged with Certifying said Tax and Debt Letiy to Ramsey County Property Taxation and other government bodies for whom this information is required.
