,plastic bag. <br />(d) All yard waste to be picked up by a licensed hauler shall be placed in separate bags or containers, <br />and:shall not contain garbage, other refuse, recyclables, or major:appliances.. <br />(Prior Code, § 108-154) <br />Sec. 62-26. - Farm waste. <br />(a) In order to protect the public health, carcasses. of domestic livestock shall be discarded in <br />accordance with state law and requirements of the county department of health. <br />(b) Organic farm waste: may be composted or integrated into the soil to improve soil conditions for <br />agricultural operations. <br />(c) Farmers subject:to Minn, Stats. § 17135 may burn or:bury sol.ld waste generated. from their <br />farming operations, or from their individual household, on. their farm, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />(1 j : Ail burning of solid waste is:performed in compliance with chapter 34 and applicable state <br />laws. <br />(2) All burying of solid waste shall be done in accordance with state law and requirements of the <br />county department of health. <br />(3} .All burying and burning of solid waste shah be performed in such a manner that no material <br />ih solid, semisolid, liquid or gaseous form is released into surface waters, groundwaters, or <br />the atmosphere, which because of its quantity, concentration, chemical or infectious. <br />Characteristics, may cause,: or significantly contribute to an Increase in mortality,. or an <br />increase in serious,. irreversible, or incapacitating reversible illness, or pose a substantial <br />present or potential threat to human health or the environment. <br />(4) All burying and burning ofsolid waste shall be performed in such manner and location that <br />the site of'the burying or burning does not become a breeding or nesting site for rod ents, <br />vermin; ❑r wild animals, or attract rodents, vermin, or wild an1rha15. on a recurring basis. <br />(Prior Code, § 1.05-150) <br />Secs. 62-27-62-5S: - Reserved. <br />DIVISION 2. - COLLECTION LICENSE <br />Sec. 62-56. - Solid waste collection license. <br />
