Gem Lake – SSTS Ordinance Updates <br />Gem Lake Planning Commission Meeting 11/12/24 <br />November 4, 2024 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE APPLICATION FORM <br />For SSTS replacement, sale of property, new construction, a bedroom addition, and/or a holding tank addition, a <br />Septic System Certificate of Compliance (CoC) is required. A CoC is granted administratively to the owner of the <br />system. They must submit property owner identification, the date of inspection, a management plan, a vertical <br />separation distance report, and a certified statement indicating the SSTS is in compliance with the City’s <br />Ordinance requirements. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Commission should review the draft ordinance. If the Commission desires additional amendments, direction <br />regarding ordinance changes should be provided to staff. <br />Staff recommends the Planning Commission recommend approval of the proposed amendments to Ordinance <br />Number 67D to the City Council. <br />Attachments: <br />1.
