6.2.2 Ploadway Consolidation and MAintenance As part. of the Functional Roadway Consolidation Project being implemented by Ramsey County and the State of- the City of Gem Lake has agreed to take possession of *the following roadways currently identified as Ramsey County Roads: A. That portion of Scheuneman Road in the City. of Geiti-Lake from its intersection with U.S. Highway 61 to the: south to its intersection with Otter Lake -Road to the -north, and B. That-poriion of Scheuneman Road in the City. of Gem Lake from its intersection with- County. Road. E (a.k.a. Minnesota Highway 244) to the south. to its intersdetibn with U.S. Highway 61 to the north; and C. That portion of Hoffman Road in the City. of Gene Lake its intersection with U.S:.Highway.-61 to the south to its interseetiort with Ramsey County Road E* to. da4 north. Acceptance -..of these. roadways is contingent upon completion by Ramsey County of the following: A. Ramsey. County has, by means of Resolution No. 93-347, agreed to acquire property identified as 4140 Scheuneman Road for a sum not to exceed $100,000 for the solo purpose. of realigning County Road FlOtter Lake Road moire directly. to its intersection with Hoffman Road -in White.Bear Lake; and B. To deed any portion. of-guch lands acquired above not.required.for County right-of-way back to the City of Gem.L - for a.fee of one. ($ !) dollar and other good and valuable consideration; and C. Said acquisition of lbod(s) shall be completed within a period of not -mote than ten (10) years from the'date of agreement; and D. All -roadways to be turned back to the City of Gem Lake shall, at the-tinie of turn back, be evaluated and, as necessary, upgraded to as built condition, The City of Gem Lake has agreed to accept the, turn back of roadways from Ramsey County:in the year 2000_ Comprehensive Plan Gem Lake, Minnesota Page 38
