Shall conform as follows. <br />1) Shall maintain harmony and compatibility with surrounding. uses and with the. architectural <br />character and design standards of existing uses and development; <br />Given the intent of the Gateway Zone, conditions could be added to ensure a site design meeting <br />the intent of the zoning district is achieved. <br />2). Shall meet or exceed all Performance Standardszontaia elsewhere in this Ordinance; <br />The applicant. will have to meet ordinance requirements. in order to receive building permits from <br />the city, <br />3) Shad not generate such additional traffic associated with. the use that would overburden or <br />exceed the capabilities of streets and other public services and facilities.including, but not limited <br />to, parks, schools, and utilities serving the area; <br />The use of the site would be for storage of vehicles; so traffic generation would not be. an issue.. <br />The City Council has the following options: <br />1. Approve the request; with or without conditions <br />2. Derry the request, with findings for denial <br />3. Table the request for further review/study <br />a. If tabling this request, the review period Will need to be extended an additional 60 days. <br />This would need to be included. in the motion to table <br />.* RECOMMENDATION <br />The.: Planning Comrriission. recommended that the City Council approve the.. request, to. issue an Interim <br />Use Permit (IUP) to allow the applicant to construct a parking lot on the site for storage of. cars for the <br />CarRt business located across.the street at 3.5.55 Hoffman Rd. The following conditions were <br />recommended: <br />1. The applicant cannot conduct -automobile sales on the site. <br />2. The Interim Use Permit shall have a tiirie iimit of five(5) years from the date of approval by the <br />City Council. <br />1 The applicant.shall secure all required permits, and comply with the requirements of said permits. <br />1 <br />
